Healthy, Safe & Thriving
We are a community-based partnership collective across Hawai’i that is working to ensure every keiki is Healthy, safe, and Thriving. Pāhoa Promise and the Waimānalo ʻUpena are the first community-based efforts to develop an Early Childhood Continuum of support for young keiki (0-5 years) and their ʻohana.

Infants and toddlers have a medical home, are on track with well-child visits, and are screened for needed interventions.
ʻOhana have access to community-based services and systems, including affordable, high quality, culture-centered early care and learning.
Five-year-olds reach kindergarten ready to thrive, love learning and attend school consistently.
Long-term Outcomes
Three- & four-year-olds are preparing to enter kindergarten.
